Anybody have any good concoctions they make?

Mine kind of goes like this:

-1 scoop of vanilla protein
-Throw in about 8 ice cubes
-2 monster spoons of peanut butter
-1 Yo'Playa yogurt
-Couple Strawberries with the leaves on them
-1 good dump...of oatmeal

Sometimes this thing gives me bad gas but it goes down like a fat girl in a corner booth at Sherlocks.

I'm sure its around 600 calories so its pretty much a meal replacement.

Your post workout meal that is within 45 minutes of lifting should have a high Glycemic Index sugar source to provoke an insulin response to push the protein into your muscles for maximum recovery. It's the only time that is really encouraged :) Other than that looks good tho PB can load up the cals.

Sound sorta like something Fenix made.

I like to do:
(Morning Sunrise Smoothie)
2 scoops Vanilla Protein
1 Banana
1/4 to 1/2 cup Blueberries or strawberries
1/4 cup OJ (simply orange)
bout 1/4 cup ice

or
(Chocolate Covered Strawberries)
2 scoops Choc. Protein (Can sub one scoop of van if it's too choclatey)
1/4 to 1/2 cup Strawberries (add more for sweetness)
1 Banana
1/4 cup ice

or
(Reese s Peanut Butter Cup)
1 scoop choc. protein (can mix vanilla protein in a ratio of 2:1 choc to van)
2 table spoons of PB
1 Banana
1/4 cup of ice

oh I forgot,
(Tropical Sensation)
2 scoops Van Protein
1/2 mango
1/4 pineapple
1 Banana
1/4 cup OJ(Simply Orange)
1/4 cup Ice

I think he's trying to build mass, unlike you and I trying to lean down and trim up.

I used to make massive weight gain shakes:

Cup milk
Cup O.J.
Ice
Frozen Berries
Vanilla Yogurt
Lots of peanut butter
2 scoops protein
Oats

Blend. Enjoy.

heh I'm lazy. True mass mixed with milk. Free for me since I work at vitamin shoppe. True mass isn't full of shit carbs and fat like most mass gainers. I add a spoonfull of creatine monohydrate. Btw most the fat in peanut butter is good fat, so you don't have to worry about it as much if you trying to lose weight. Same deal with fish.

My fave post w/o shake, and yet to be rivaled is:

In a blender mix:
3 scoops whey(I like chocolate O.N.)
Milk
2-3 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter
Optional:1 packet of quaker instant oats

Blend and then drink in 2-3 servings.
