Question: How do you fight an uphill battle, when you don't even want what's at the top of the hill?

If the victory isn't worth the battle, why even fight it?

Sometimes getting to the top is a win in and of itself...

That's a good question. A better question might be why are you fighting for something you don't want?

I concur..I am also going through the same problem...why am I trippin and wanting to win over this girl(and losing in the process) when shes not really all that...is it due to being a male and doing it for sport? To feel that sense of accomplishment that YOU are the one that won?...That YOU are the one that she wants...tricky subject I must say

I would say we sometimes fight, just for the sake of fighting. Overall, to just feel alive.

Its being all MAN. rising to the challenge not necessarily for the prize but for the fight itself.
