I finally got my into a gym and started working out. Already feeling the difference. I feel skinnier( i did actually loose weight), I have more energy and confidence. I just feel better over all. Man some of you have seen me talk to girls in clubs....imagine me with a six pack.

Now all I have to do is try to change my diet which is hard as fuck. Trying to avoid drinking soda, but that is a little harder than it sounds. Oh well it does not matter I just have to do it.

I used to drink a minimum of 6 Dr. Peppers a day.

I just went cold turkey one day and quit. It was hard but I found water is actually very refreshing and good. I will still have a soda once in a while but it is never a Dr.Pepper. It might be a root beer or grape soda or something. I also drink Ice tea a lot but mainly 75%+ of the time water.

The calorie difference is staggering.

They say if the average person quit drinking soda they'd lose 7lbs over the course of a year.

At least.

Figure the average person drinks 4 sodas a day. The average 12oz soda has 190 calories. That's 760 calories a day. Over a week that's 5,320 calories less that you take in.

One pound of fat has 3,500 calories. So, all things equal you'll shed approximately 1.5lbs per week. Obviously, the weight loss will stop eventually because you're body will become more efficient operating on fewer calories unless you prime it exercise.

Yeah soda need to go, i went from drinking 6 can of soda a day to drinking 2-3 cans of soda a day, today only drank 2 cans. Some of my friends drink about 15 cans of soda a day and well other than the weight that they put on, the addiction to caffeine has a strange effect on people. In about couple of months a should be in the best shape of my life.

cutting soda helps, but you still have to run a caloric deficit to lose weight.

Want to lose weight? Make exercising in whatever capacity part of your life, and enough of a priority that things which inhibit this goal secondary.

If you can't do that, then continue to be a lard ass. How bad do you want it? If you're drinking any carbonated beverage, at any time, you don't want it and will fail.
