I was on JustSayHi.com and doing some cocky funny comments and some sexual undertone comments on a Thread about racism. I noticed this one girl who cuts & paste definitions about correct usage of the word"Discriminate." I looked up her profile... she is in Ohio. Not even a target. Thought she was Fat from her Avatar Main photo. Than I saw her other photos and she seems pretty cute.

I PM her and didn't want to come off as hitting on her. This is what I wrote:

"Hi

Just a heads up and I am going straight to the point.
The photo in your avatar makes you look fat.
Your neck line is all covered up and your hands is bunching up your face. It is adding 15 lbs to you.. comparing to the other images you have in your profile.

Have a great day."

This is what she wrote back:

Than she got on the thread and really hammered me by getting other posters to agreeing with her. Yeah... she cuss me out in the PM, but in the post against me... she was acting all innocent and sweet. I just watched as "The Jerk Ahole" meter go up.

I feel sorry for the guy that will ever hook up with her.

I recovered by posting what I had sent her and not apologizing.

Once the concensus is against you... you are toast.
Women will band together... against jerks and creeps.

lol... and to think you were trying to do her a favor :) the way you worded it i can see how she might have interpreted it as an insult (not to mention the tendancy females have to interpret that kind of comment negatively anyway)... you might have said something like 'the photo in your avatar makes you look fat *even though you aren't*' to make it clear you weren't calling her fat or expressed you were only saying it because you thought her other pictures were better representations. you pretty much left in the critical parts but didn't include any praise to let her know you weren't intending it that way.... so you got the typical female emotional overreaction :) most women walking around thinking they're too fat anyway whether they are or aren't... so it won't take much to set them off ;)

Man there's a book called leadership:theory and practice, and it talks about people who respond in fight or flight mode, she sounds like the warrior type. I bet she (very innocently) amogs people all over that forum. She is a fucking dumbass, completely. I have been in that exact situation myself though in person, in junior high.
