yeah jeremy, do it. that job will give u some awesome social proofs man. u will get connections with other bar/club employees and etc. Soon you will basically have free access and maybe even free hook ups with drinks, etc around that area.
I actually know few awesome puas got jobs at bar/club for social proof and it worked out well for them.

what are the qualifications for bouncing and how much does it pay?? people have assumed I'm the bouncer before... might as well get something out of that ;)

Qualifications are being able to bounce someone when the time comes and also being able to control your head to not get charges filed against you when they resist. Fancier places require bouncing experience unless you know someone...and pay varies................a lot.

I think July 4th might be my first night. It will be at the location in Addison. I did it for the social proof as others mentioned. I dont think the pay will be worth it though. I think it may only be like $10/hr. I have no experience and I dont look like a former football player so we will see how it works out. I guess I need to concentrate on adding some more muscle mass to my declining weight.
