finally got chance to reply now. First of all, I do not agree with Michael Moore on ANY other subject except HEALTH CARE.

READ THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD. SICKO (US HEALTH CARE SYSTEM). Is "Michael Moore" on title of this thread? You're confusing with what this thread is about. This is not about him.

God I hate people who thinks they know everything. They will write long paragraphs and on and on. It sounds so good. And yet, they don't support with the REAL FACTS themselves.

DRUGS here in america is more expensive than other countries because American pharmaceutical companies. They know people can't afford jacked up price in 3rd world countries and other poorer countries. So they still sell the drugs to those countries with whole LOT lower price than they sell in US coz they know they still make money off them. They know people will still pay for it in US eventho, price is jacked up. It is funny American companies do it that way to maxmize the profit.

ANOTHER FACT:

True Story:

My mother's friend found herself feeling really sick. She was bleeding from places it wasn't supposed to bleed.
She suspected that she might have cancer or some serious illness.
Fortunately, she was fully covered at one of US health insurance company. So she went to go see a doctor.
Doctor tells her she is perfectly fine and there are NO signs of cancer.
She feels still sick so she goes out to South Korea to get checked up...
Korean doctors did tests on her and found that she had cancer.
Not only she had a cancer, but it was at final stage.
She had to cut off her lungs and some other organs inside to survive...
She still goes to Korea once every 3 month to get treated.
I cannot believe that U.S. doctors could not find the cancer at the final stage.
US supposed to have latest medical equipment with most developed medical methods and blahblah.

Even I was scammed by a doctor in Plano...
I just can't trust American doctors.

coz insurance companies give bad incentives to doctors. Less/NO treatment patients get, more money for doctors.

sleek, medical malpractice happens happens in every country, not just the US.

i knew a dude in canada who got bloodwork done for cancer and it took them THREE MONTHS just to run the bloodwork to tell him that yeah, he did have cancer. Nice.

I don't think anyone's saying the US system is perfect or doesn't need to be fixed -- I think the disagreement is that the answer is socialized medicine.

Listen bro, that was in private. One man to another man. A low value person would have simply called you out in public. I would never do what you just did. Plus anyways, that PM was meant to be helpful. I wasn't trying to come down on you. I was trying to help you gain some credibility. The fact is that what you say is just as important as how you say it. I never said you sound like a retard man. Never said that.

I never said I was high-value. I talk about it a lot and openly claim to focus heavily on my value. But I never used the words: "Bull Run is high value."

And, why can't I be a smart ass? Guys that know me understand that it was a joke. It was meant to be funny. Again, the 'smart' line was a fucking joke. Truth is that I feel the exact opposite.

-I got overly passionate about the topic

We've never met in person, which sucks because I love meeting you guys. I'm confident that if we had met before now then this thread would not have turned out the way it has.
