you know the police havent just been getting taser happy on just blacks. they also fuck with the poor. I hate police officers..... in general. I have had nothing but bad experiences with them.

I dont really know what happened. in Jena but I do know that someones going to get fucked somehow someway.

I agree.

Justice should be color blind, as well as class blind.

It should have been blind with O.J., it should have been blind with the Lacrosse team, it should have been blind with Paris Hilton, and it should have been blind with the "Jena 6."

Sadly, though, the public becomes divided along racial and class lines when these things happen, even before anyone has heard or looked at the evidence or reviewed what the usual procedures are for that type of case.

One thing that annoys me is how the media portrays everything as a black/white issue. But America is not black and white. There are many cultures, races, and ethnicities. When an Italian, Asian, or Hispanic goes to trial, why doesn't anyone say, "he's going to play the race card." But when a black person goes on trial, that's the first thing that is said.

And with whites becoming the minority by mid-century, don't expect these types of problems to go away anytime soon.
