Hookups at clubs and bars

how did you guys get the rockstar treatment at bars and clubs. There are simple answers as spend lots of money and bring hot girls n such.. but what are other ways to get good with these guys? I am 21 and I always wondered how some guys are able to get in have much better time. I have taken few hot lady friends and spend moneyb ut I was just another guy waiting in line. LOL What are some ways to work the club to get these treatments?

Come to the club before it gets busy and get to know the bouncer and the bartendars. They will have time to talk and will be bored as they wait for people to show up.

Regularly show up at the club including during the week so they recognize you. Become a "regular".

Confidentally introduce yourself and remember their names when you meet them. The next time you see them, use your name again and reintroduce yourself if they don't recognize you.

Tip well when appropriate. Be polite and friendly.

Get introduced by someone who already has status.

It sucks that it is so but it really does help - drive a nice car to the club.

Don't expect to get any special attention, even if they know you, when they are busy. They are there to do a job and you shouldn't distract them from such.

There is cost to this game. Networking works but is hard to accomplish sometimes. Most clubs now in days have some sort of a vip program.

Twitchy was right on with what he said. I worked in the service industry for the better part of a decade.
The people I took care of were: the big tippers, regulars even though they might not be the best tippers, and people where were fun and engaged me and treated me with some friendly atitude and respect. The service industry is the Rodney Dangerfield industry. NOBODY gets ANY respect. Try appreciating them, or commenting on how tough their job can be, and your well on your way.
Service industry income is very variable, and works often long and strange hours. I usually tell them soon into our interaction about my time in the industry, and I know what its like, and 9 times outta 10,see a different side of the person I'm dealing with.
Tipping, very few know how to do it right. The valet guy, if you choose that, a $5 gets you good treatment on the way in, and $1-2 on the way out. Do that and you'll get taken care of-. Bartenders, at LEAST $1 a drink. Waitresses, 20-25% is good.

I dont have money to blow around,so I'm not in the big tipper category, so I fall into the regular and fun/respect guy category I outlined. There are a few places in town there the staff knows me, and I get the treatment.
