So dead

I noticed that our forum is not even nearly as active as before...
I enjoyed all the experienced guys' advices and such. It seems like they are too busy these days.
Anyways I am hoping that forum gets little more active so that everyone can learn a lot from each other.

i think it would help if people ask some questions, there's hardly anything ever asked(same goes at meetups!!)

experienced guys can post stuff till blue in the face, but most of it is all out there in the community already....

but i think everyone wants to help if questions are asked, hell thats why i think most still hang around.

lol i don't think it could decide who is high value or not... it only takes few minutes to be on board and write something. Hell you can even do it with your cellphone.

I could just not post anything for a while and frame myself as a high value LOL.

I believe it comes to what kind of activities people were doing to decide high value or low value.

I was working and got on board to post somethin over weekend... so does that mean I'm low value? lol

I'm pretty sure if my mother knew what I was doing this past weekend she'd think I was pretty "low value". But pops on the other hand.....is saying I'm damn proud of you son! :-)

Fuck this high value low value pua shit. Yeah I respect people with skills but I don't put people on pedestals like they are some gods.

I think what Justice meant was that people had better things to do than check the board.

This in and of itself implies that you're high value because you're out and about and you've got other things going on than what happens here.

High and low value isn't about putting people on pedestals. It's about having a life outside of PU. It's not some sort of score keeper or anything of that matter. No one is better or worse.

I'm gonna have to disagree here. I think Sleek has a point that there seems to be much less interest in the boards, but what strikes me is not so much the loss of "high value guys" (whatever that means) but I don't see as many newbies these days or as much new blood coming in.

Look at the introductions section - the last person in was in JULY. I remember when every other day it seemed like there was some newbie.

But that's to be expected, i mean how many of us were drawn to this because we read The Game? I don't see that book on the shelves anymore.

I think the social phenomenon created by the book The Game has peaked, and that's what we're seeing.

Nah...

What you see is a community split.

NO ONE is finding this new board. They all find dallaspua.com first because that is what shows up on the search engines. And that is prob what is at the other boards.

So all of the newbies go there...they find a somewhat deserted board with no gatherings and think to themselves...is this all the dallas area has to offer in regards to PU. They quickly leave and go the journey alone or give up all together.

There has to be a way for the newbies to find this board.

Also didn't I hear that there was about 18-20 guys at the last meeting at Taco Cabana? WHO WERE THEY? Why don't they post?

Go look at the last 100 posts if that is possible. They were all made by no more than a handful of guys. That is a bit concerning I will agree.
