I am an avid reader myself. The problem with reading is that you are forced to read subjects that are of no interest to you in school. I only read books on subjects that I am interested at the time. Whether it is a history book, autobiography, string theory, I make sure the book is well written (I check what critics say) and of a topic of interest.
That is one common attribute all great leaders and men I have read about; they love to read.
