as some of you may know, the nba all star game will be played at cowboys stadium in arlington and there should be a TON of people in dallas this weekend -- this sunday is also valentines day..this may or may not be a good thing.
so, what is everyones plan for the weekend?

Ya, this weekend should be kwazy. My goal this weekend is to not have a sip of the alkie and still have a good time.

UPTOWN!
I'm really starting to like blackfriar. It's like an Addison dive bar but with good-looking girls instead of Creatures from the Black Lagoon.

I'll bet you anything that the demographic of people in town for the All-Star weekend are not going to be what you're looking for...
Virtually every city that has hosted an NBA All-Star game has horror stories to tell from the people that flock to town.
And, Blackfriar is a cool bar...too bad it's in Uptown.

Interesting observation BR. I would like to think that the visitors would stick to the more popular clubs in downtown (and a few in uptown) but the usual crowd should still be present at places like black friar, idle rich, or any bar in Addison.
One concern is how many single people will be out on valentines day weekend. You're either going to get the single, bitter, lonely women out looking for a lay or couples out having drinks after dinner...I'm not too sure what the crowd would be like..

I wouldn't worry about running into bitter girls, doubtful they would even venture out on V-day. They would most likely stay home in sweats and eat ice cream and then gently cry themselves to sleep.
On another note, I'm not at all worried about a flock of all-star sheep terrorizing y'alls neighborhood.
