Concert Thread

Postby Guest » Fri May 06, 2011 3:39 pm

I try to go to as many concerts as possible. Here is a list of the concerts that I'M 100% POSITIVE that I'm going to so far this Summer. Concerts are great places to meet quality chicks because you start off with something super important in common: the same taste in music (which I cannot stress the importance of enough).

Artist: Eisely
Where: The Granada
When: Saturday June 4th

Artist: Sick Puppies
Where: Trees
When: Wednesday June 8th

Artist: She Wants Revenge
Where: The Loft
When: Monday (boo) June 13th

Artist: Taking Back Sunday
Where: House of Blues
When: Tuesday July 5th

In addition to these events, I'll probably be hitting up a day concert next Saturday downtown (can't remember the details but I'll look them up) AND the Wildflower Festivial in Richardson in a few weeks. Both will be great places to pull puss.

PM me if you're interested in coming with to any of the events. OR, just show up, I don't care...

I'll update the thread as I add/remove concerts/events.

I've decided to open this thread up to any one that decides to post LEGITIMATE concerts and festivials that they will be attending.

More jokes and tomfoolery will be deleted by me...

I take your deleting my post as your opinion that the Electronic Daisy Carnival isn't legitimate?

...

Or did I not hit the submit button?? (I typed it out on my phone so I might've gotten distracted and forgot to submit it)

I am planning on going to warped tour. It's an all day concert with like 5 different stages. All tickets are GA, and you walk around from stage to stage seeing what bands you are interested in. A lot of the bands this year aren't very good, but there are a handful of bands I would like to see. And if nothing else, I will have a fun time hanging out with friends and meeting new people. Check here to see what bands are playing in Dallas - http://vanswarpedtour.com/event/id/38125

Dallas is the first stop on the tour, so some of the bands I thought were going to be there, won't jump on till a later date (Sorry BR, I know you were excited about seeing a certain red head, but they won't be coming to Dallas). Some of the ones I am interested in seeing are
- Dance Gavin Dance
- Enter Shikari
- August Burns Red
and a few others.

Wednesday July 20th
Vanna will be playing at the Door in Deep Ellum. This is my absolute favorite venue. Doors at 5 pm.

Muk, I have no idea what happened with your post or if you forgot to hit submit.

But, the electric daisy carnival is in las vegas, that is a long ways away.

I remember when I used to go to Warped tour and actually know who the bands were. Like Green Day. Hahaha I can't believe that fucking show is still running. Cool shit man.
