"Numb" isn't usually the first word that comes to mind when I think of my physiological response to boobs.

Haha, I imagine we gave her a HEALTHY boost of confidence... having an entire roomful of men doing their best to pick you up has GOT to make any woman feel good about herself. That, and she really likes to be the center of attention (I still maintain that this is really why she has such bright hair).

Learn to create great scenes through agreement, support, playing to the top of your intelligence, object and environment work, and strong clear character choices.

Become a more open, spontaneous, creative person. This class is going to help you create imaginative scenes that engage the audience at the top of your intelligence. Your humor comes not from jokes or gags, but from the scene itself. You'll understand techniques for beginning and enriching scenes. You will develop characters that are 100% unique, not because they're strange, but because they're so truly your own.

Walk into a meeting, onto a stage, into a conversation, or into an audition with that "ready for anything" spirit that is the mark of ease and confidence.

We'll use movement-based and verbal-based exercises, scene work and group exercises, to explore the primary tenets of improvisation — making you more confident, trusting and graceful.

The class emphasizes creating a rich environment for your scenes, committing to your decisions and your scene partner and beginning with the body as inspiration.

THE ART OF IMPROVISATION is an innovative weekly workshop
that offers a rich curriculum drawn from Second City improvisational
training, Viola Spolin theatre games, and the Chicago longform
improv style. It has been designed to benefit beginners as well
as the most experienced professionals. This workshop instills and
hones fundamental skills while building to ever more advanced
techniques.

-Get out of your head and start living in the moment!
-Explore ways to become more spontaneous, adventurous, and
expressive.
-Heighten your physicality and presence.
-Improve your listening and communication skills while acquiring
more playfulness, creativity, teamwork, and a sense of adventure
-Learn to create rich scene work and stories that are weaved
into a piece that is greater than the sum of its parts
-Become trained in the art of freestyle narrative
-Learn how to participate in the "group mind"
-Learn how to generate and bring new characters to life
-You will be challenged to take risks, go further with your
ideas, and embrace your inner weirdo.

THE ART OF IMPROVISATION will teach you improvisation as an art
form and even a way of life. You will never have to feel flat or
unfunny again!

Student Testimonials:

Art of Improvisation is one of the best workshops I have taken. I have
literally no acting experience whatsoever.

With Brandon's expert advice and his cool style, I was able to find new
characters in myself and act out scenes which were funny, serious and
sometimes demented...well most were demented but who's counting?

The point is that Brandon is the man! He's one of the most natural teachers
I have encountered in my time on earth. And he understands things like
people in relationships, energy and structure.

Brandon encourages playfulness while giving structure to an artform which
is...at best..improvised.
His instruction into techniques like 'Find the Game', 'Status Changes', and
'be half-animal half-human' must be experienced by each and every person on
this planet.

If you don't take this class, you're missing out... or missing that other
part of you which is truely half-animal.

Don't be normal. Take this Class.
-Darren Chess

Brandon your class was an unbelievable learning experience and really allows room for the individual to develop as an improviser. It is also a very nurturing environment so even the "shy" people will get something out of it!
all the best,
Sean Brison

"Brandon Enriquez is most definitely one of the best Improv instructors in Dallas. He is infinitely knowledgeable and ferociously witty. I have never had more fun pretending to be to the crazy kid that I am."
-Marina Smith

Dear future prospective students,
I have been a part of Brandon's improv class for the past 2 rounds and waiting for the 3rd (June 5th).
If you want to be in the business and/or already are, then improv is involuntary. It must be done just like breathing. Improv for me has improved by far my performances on camera and away from the camera. I have noticed myself think in a diff light and use portions of my brain that i normally wouldn't. Prior to Brandon's class, i was limiting what i was ready to do at an audition, but not intentionally. Most of the auditions I go on require some form of improv, and my performances were limited and I wasn't going very far. This doesn't say anything about my character or personality it simply means that most of us have been programmed to think inside the box. Brandon taught me many excercises and games in his workshop that enhanced my ability to do just about anything, It helped me in all aspects of life; mainly communication. Taught me to listen!!!!

What can you expect from this class??? You can expect embarrassment and humiliation. More so, you can expect how not to give a damn and not worry about embarrassment and humiliation which will only enhance your performance and career as an actor. Brandon will work with you individually at your own level depending on experience and talent. My promise to you, after the 2nd class you will not want to leave. He will push you and help you free your imagination. He will make you do things that most people are not willing to do. what does this mean? Success, and greater success!!!!

Tired of locking up or freezing up during an audition/performance? Do you find it difficult working with new talent that don't have that much talent? do you find yourself not being set apart from the rest of the talent pool? Do you want to be in your own class, diffrent, unique?

Mastering the Art of Improv taught by Brandon Enriquez is the answer. If your looking for an experience or even looking to achieve better results; you are closing the door on your career as whatever by not being involved in this class. Because of improv and working with Brandon, I HAVE BOOKED MORE WORK!!!! is this something you want to do? -- Asif Taj
