Can I use this as an opener?

Hey guys, I need your opinion on something. I have this friend who just told me today that he wants to get the "Oscar Meyer Wienner" logo tattooed on his penis, do you think this is a good idea?

This kind of evolved from a joke I made at work.

You're going to need a story to back it up. It sounds like it may be hard to follow up with a story that's plausible. Best option may be if he lost a bet or something. Is he having to choose between the Oscar Meyer logo and something else? What was the bet about? What if he had won?

The very first sentence of an opener doesn't have to be that interesting. If it leads into an interesting story then it should work.

Hmm, perhaps for tomorrow night I'll try to come up with a back-story for "Hey, how many sides does an octagon have?"

Go for it

I say go for it. A year ago we had one called "The Dead Body Opener" in which we would go around asking girls if they had seen a dead body.
LOL.

This was not a real opener. It was a way to get over anxiety.

In the end, you should be able to roll with anything. That's how Style's Dental Floss Opener was invented.

Good openers usually have to do with A. Relationships or B. The Unknown.

One I use alot in bars/clubs is simply "How tall are you?" Weird how this works.
Its almost qualification right off the bat.

The good old "Tatoos on Girls" is my favorite.

Try yours 10 times and see what happens. If it sucks, do something else.

you can act like you are taking a survey by using the mark on the wrist routine with it. Like it was said earlier, have a good story to back it up with or come up with some funny statements that other girls would say about it because if they ask what the consesus has been so far you have good material to open up with after that point. It would probably work best with larger groups of girls.

See I work mostly with girls. All different age groups. And the joke started out as "Do you think I should get a tattoo of the Oscar Meyer Wiener Logo on my penis?"

Without fail the first responce out of each of my friend's mouth has been "I want to see." Almost Imediatly followed by dares. No one was really shocked that this came from me because I'm always saying off the wall shit. But the idea was so unusual and obsurd that everyone I've mentioned it to in that context expressed an interest in seeing it. (Except my parents... although my mom did offer to pay for it if I went through with it.)

I can see what ya'll mean about having a strong story to back it up with though. Thats the main reason I'm hesitant to use the question in any form. I may play around with the idea of losing a bet. I'll do something with it at least a couple of times.
