I posted this on Mystery's Forum and thought it might be helpful to my fellow Dallas PUA's...

Here's a review of several David D products. I've rated everything on a scale from 1 to 10.

"Double Your Dating" ebook - Rating: 8/10. A good read, and the most affordable priced of his products.

Advanced Dating CD Series - Rating: 9/10. In my opinion, this is the best David D has to offer. I've listened to the series numerous times. Even so, it's heavy on theory and light on actual technique. This series is better at listening to over and over to build "inner game".

Sexual Communication CD Series - Rating: 4/10. I found this series to be nearly worthless. I would've sent it back for a refund, but I waited too long.

Cocky Comedy CD Series - Rating: 2/10. Horrible. Just really, really horrible. Craig, one of the guest speakers, described one of his best cocky & funny moments as walking up to a girl and handing her a zucchini. Maybe these guys are funny in the clubs, but not here.

(Thought I'd add here that I have seen some very positive reviews of Cocky Comedy online, so YMMV).

Approaching Women and Starting Conversations - Rating: 7/10. An improvement over some of the previous products, it continues David D's trend of handing over his seminar to guest speakers. Tyler and Mystery were great. Craig, Toecutter, and 26 were also entertaining. Then the series takes a nosedive with Sean talking about his "big butt" theory and Dr. Paul extrapolating on various theories that I don't remember, because they nearly put me asleep while driving. For the better guests, I give this a 7 out of 10. But wasn't this a David D product?

"Attraction Isn't a Choice" - Rating: 8/10. Basically an e-book version of the Advanced Dating Series.

Mastery CD series - ? - I have not, and probably will not, order this.

Body Language CD series - ? - Same here. In my opinion, once you've built up your confidence, the body language pretty much takes care of itself.

Interview series - 2/10 to 9/10. I discontinued this over a year ago. This series is really hit and miss. Some interviews were pure gold, while others did nothing for me. Still, the production quality is high overall, and DeAngelo was good about dropping in the occasional double CD bonus.

Hope this helps.

ya these ratings are pretty legit. When I started out on his products, I noticed a couple of flaws as well. But David D does have a lot of good work for beginners, which I think is his main target.

The interview series is definitely hit or miss. Did you get a chance to listen to the David Shade Interview? Was I the only guy creeped out? haha

I've read DYD and AIC. Very good concepts. Indeed the idea that "Attraction Isn't A Choice" should be hammered into everyone's head here. I've seen fat chicks turn down buff nice guys because they simply weren't attracted.
If you really have trouble with cocky and funny though after reading those books and maybe getting a few pointers, then it probably isn't for you. C+F is my favorite because it has come very natural to me. I regularly tease people about anything and everything, it's fairly easy for me to stretch it into HBs now.
