Second coolest guy in the place

I've used this a little before, but last night I used it several times.

"This is my friend [ name ]. I love hanging out with this guy. See, ordinarily when I go to a place like this I'm the coolest guy in the whole place. That's why I like hanging around this guy, since it takes the pressure off!"

Delivered properly it comes off as a joke and the girls will laugh or giggle. When I'm halfway through the routime they'll give me weird looks, like "is this guy for real? Is he really so conceited?" But by the end they realize I'm messing with them and they laugh.
