I have a lot of time on my hand these days so I've been getting into day game and created a new challenge for myself: girls that work as clerks in shops.

I'm trying to develop a system for running this kind of game. My system so far (a rough version of it):

1) engage her as a customer
2) steer the conversation in a more personal direction (good time to DHV)
3) gauge her reaction and then go in for the close, number or date (sometimes going straight for the date works better if it's close to closing time and there is a cool bar nearby)

Some things I am learning:

-You have to be flirty and funny right off the bat
-You should always dress nice
-indirect game will give you with more windows of opportunity for success than direct
-You can't be a "regular" with these kind of girls unlike bartenders or waitresses, so you only have one shot really. You can't hang around at most shops on a regular basis.

I'm just starting out so my success is very limited. I'm hoping to hammer out a system that's much more fool-proof and I'm open to any advice.

I've tried this. Make sure you open indirect. Then use the techniques you're describing. But number closing right off the bat isn't always necessary. In fact, many times she will be forced to help other customers (she is working, afterall).

You can easily re-visit the same shops again and again to build enough comfort to ask for a solid number. Otherwise you might get a lot of flakes. Instant coffee-dates are also a great way to go. In most cases she'll decline due to logistics, at which point you have a great reason to ask for her number, and you've seeded the day 2.

Day-game rules apply. Don't be too physical. Don't be too sexual. Just be a NORMAL, friendly but alpha guy.

The only real problem with shop-girl game is that these girls are a very limited resource. You will not find enough of them and you will be in a scarcity mindset. I would use this as a supplement to proper nightgame. It should not be your meat-and-potatoes.

Smiling at girls works. Its the most underrated thing....but its so simple. Great way to gauge interest as well.
Try doing a day of smiling at girls. Approach if they smile back.
