Cha Cha is a text search service staffed by real people. You can text Cha Cha (242242) anything you want and a human answers.

Its good to get more detailed answers to questions than something like Google would provide but I have also found it helps me build rapport. Text Cha Cha obnoxious stuff and see what response you get. "Why does beer taste so good?", "Will Mike get laid tonight?", "Is Kimberly a dork?"

It's fun. It generates conversation. It allows for a lot of interaction and gives you time to talk while you wait for the response (usually 2 or 3 minute).

The service is free except for any text message charges your carrier may charge you.

I used to work for them back in day. They made money from advertisements. The CEO must had assloads of money from venture capitalists..

Chacha Guides make $0.20 per question they answer.
They work on their own time.
The more efficient they are the more money they make.
