I can try to explain what i mean.
When I gauge my responses to be appropriate to the situation, it's all about Compliance, not IoI's and IoD's. I don't care how much interest is given, what I'm after is investment. Sinn states that microcalibration is too advanced for his bootcamps, but I can break this concept down to a couple sentences. Reward compliance, punish non-compliance. Reward with attention, punish by withdrawl of attention.
No negs, no IOD's.
Keep in mind that in order to be compliance, there has to be a demand made. The demand can be stated directly, or it can be implied. (an example of implied compliance would be that she responds to your opener. You implied that you want to talk, she complied) Implied compliance should be rewarded as well. I think the confusion comes from the fact that IOI's and implied compliance can easily be confused for one another, however they are not really the same thing.
I don't think microcalibration is a terrible theory, but I do think mine is better because it's more intuitive and lets you focus on other things where I think microcal is very thought-intensive as Sinn states.
I will state this point again - if you are actively thinking about microcalibration in set you are focusing too much brain power on this and probably missing out on more important calibration issues.
Which brings me to my second point. Energy, vibe, emotion are not ethereal or "soft" concepts but something that can be actively understood and used. They are not really related to IOI's or IOD's.
Energy is the speed and type of movements and gestures, your eye contact, your vocal inflection/variation, and the content of your conversation.
Emotion is how things make you feel/ vv.
Vibe is the effect your energy/emotion have on hers and vv.
Another part of microcalibration is DHV's, and I don't believe in DHV's, hence another issue I have with the theory. I don't believe in ACTIVELY displaying value, as I think this is a passive function. Value means more when it is DISCOVERED, for one, and for two, I believe you have the benefit of the doubt w respect to value until you "DLV."
That said, I think the most important thing is to not overthink these things but to try to have fun with it.
