Girls say they have a boyfriend for several different reasons.

Sometimes they will say they it so they won't feel guilty, sometimes they need to be reassured you will be discreet, sometimes it's just a shit test, and sometimes they want you to go away. It is important to calibrate & figure out what she is really saying when she says "I have a boyfriend", as the responses are quite different.

If she's communicating dissinterest and telling you to go away, and you respond showing interest in her, it's not going to go well. Instead you might want to try communicating disintrest, then showing high value.

WF: Geez, do you think ever guy that talks to you is hitting on you? My last girlfriend was like so arrogant like that...

This will give her an oppertunity to quallify to you. I also like,

I like to ignore it the first time. If she says it a second or third time, I'll say, "you don't have to try so hard to convince me that someone finds you attractive."

It makes it seem weird that she's bringing it up, and can be a playful tease if said the right way.

This last weekend at bar 9 in FTW a HB told me she had a "serious boyfriend!" I said "that's nice you sure don't mind grabbing my ass and hugging on me!" She said"We have a wedding date set!".... I really felt like she just wanted to be around me cause I was the life of the party... people around me were having a blast. As for me, she was easy on the eyes but, I wanted her gone so I could talk to the brunette behind her! What should I have done? 8)

Did she know the brunette? Neg the engaged chick to the brunette? "Introduce me to your friend, that's the polite thing to do". Then neg your target for hanging out with engaged chick since she was rude.

Or, on your way to the bar....just walk up to the brunette from a different angle and open.
