In field Audio

Anyone know of any blogs or other places where PUA's have posted in field audio of their pickups? I've read a lot of stuff, but I'd actually like to hear what other people sound like as far as voice tone and the way they say things and hear the girls reactions.

i used to carry around a little audio recorder when in set. i was just unable to find enough time to really listen to like 4 hours of audio and transcribe it and break it down for very long so i stopped once i kind of found my personal style.

actually i think it helped me progress and I'm thinking about carrying one again. My game is going through some changes right now again, ie i'm trying some new stuff out, so i'd actually like to start up with that thing again.

What equipment are you using? Is the sound quality awesome?

I recorded myself picking up a hooters waitress the sound quality was awesome... granted I had it sitting right on the table she thought it was a cellphone lol. I'd say record your sets. When one goes really well you can listen to it before you go out. One of the best ways I've found to get into state.

It's called Olympus WS 210S. It ran me about $75 from Radio Shack. The sound quality blows, i'm sure there are better solutions out there (if so someone let me know) but it's good enough for me to hear what's going on. A lot of it depends on how you place the microphone - you want it to be about chest level I've found and not rubbing against any clothing. Daytime pickups record better, but you can actually use it in the bars too. The cool thing is that it records in mp3 format so it could really be uploaded to say the field reports area or something.

I think I'd like to start posting some of these. Would be a good way to motivate myself to keep getting better so I don't start to plateau.

I think it would be cool if some other guys did it too. It would really be making the most out of this forum.

I cut this down a bit its from a long time ago, but still pretty entertaining and a few things to be learned from it. It has thad (thadduesh) and me-Tyler (zine) and a few guys just hanging out with us to absorb some knowledge. We are picking up a waitress at hooters.
