musings on sober sarging

ok not so much musings but whatever. some general thoughts on sarging sober - last night was the first night i think i've ever really done that but given what happened monday night, wanted to give it a go.

1. harder to open well
2. more AA
3. harder to let go and build initial attraction
4. MUCH easier to build good rapport and calibrate to her
5. MUCH easier to consider/handle logistics
6. MUCH better state throughout the night

In all, I think I will stick to sarging sober because in my estimation the first three points can be learned sober, whereas the last three points would be harder to learn to do drunk but those are just my thoughts. Besides it's nice to NOT be hungover for once on a sunday.

although it is hard to pass up a drink.

Ohhh man I wish I could say the same thing...I am hung over today...ugh!

I too once did the whole sober thing for a few weeks and it was pretty much identical as you described it.

See one of main purposes for going out is to have fun. I just can't do that sober. So I choose to have some drinks, relax a little and have fun. If my game goes down hill(Actually no chance) because of this so be it.

I have found that I do best with 2-4 drinks. It lets me loosen up a bit but I can still calibrate everything really well. Last night I got too drunk and I blew a couple sets that I probably wouldn't have if I was more sober. I am now making it a rule for awhile to have 4 drinks max and no shots. We'll see what happens.

I'd try drinking prickly pear juice about 5 hours before you start drinking, it should take care of most hangovers. I learned that on a badass show on Spike TV called MANswers.

Man I just really want to try this sober sarging thing for me, for my own reasons. Monday has a lot to do with it but there's other reasons too.

Just so everyone knows NOTHING i post or talk about is intended to be some kind of dogma or anything. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just post what I do, what works for me, what I'm trying at the moment. This sober sarging thing is a whim. I'm not saying it's better or even good. I'm not even saying I'll stick with it. It's just something I'm doing right now.

I'm for sure not trying to lay my claim on the ultimate truths of pickup or anything. I'm no guru. I'm not even that good.

This exact issue is what led me to start experimenting with supplements when I went out.
Let's face it, drinking is often pretty expensive.
I've found I'm at my best when I dont have the anxiety I get sometimes, and am energetic and talkative.
I can spend $20+ on booze a night, or seek alternatives.
I've dabbled back and forth, and I choose the second option in the end.

I can't do it sober either, but when I keep myself to a few drinks...ya know just to loosen up...I do MUCH better.

When I go balls crazy I have a better time, as do those around me, but I end up not remembering shit about the girl(s) and have to start gaming all over again via text or some shit...

Forgot to mention that I just started my blog on Friday....so there's only the 1 post so far. Expect about 2-3 new posts a week, all related to supplements for nightlife.

For sober sarging here's a good technique that worked for me. Show up to the venue super early. When you get to the place early on, you'll notice there's less activity, not a lot of people, and generally a low energy level. Because you're sober, your energy level will also be low. As soon as more people start coming out, the energy level of the room will increase, and as you start to interact with people, you'll notice your energy level is also gradually getting higher and matching that of the venue. As the venue's level goes up, so will yours, and by the peak hour of the night you'll be in total party mode.

that plus you can save a lot of money in a week by limiting yourself or not drinking all together(epecially if you go out 3-4 times a week )
