omgdallas, that is a cool job, use it....

If you have a cool ass job, use it as a DHV. Mystery did not do this since , well, he had no real job then (or now?). As for me, I use to be a computer programmer/Unix Admin... Back then, instead of saying

"I am a computer programmer for IBM"

I could of said

"Ever heard of the computer Deep Blue? No? It was the first computer to beat a grand chess master champion. Deep Blue is an SP system running on an AIX platform. They are IBM's supercomputers. Those are the computers I work on at IBM"

which sound cool. So, if you have a high power/cool job, use it.

Now I own a business with 9 employees. That is massive DHV on a few levels. Having people work for me, makes me the tribal leader. Having a successful business communicates that I have stability, power and money. Being honest about what you do is always the best route.

A PUA should ALWAYS be GENUINE with women. Women can smell fakeness 10 bar benches away. We are here to be better men. Better men gets the girl. And better men do not need to fake.

Hope this helps,

I'm new, so tell me if I have this wrong. I think if your job is a DLV and you can't avoid it, then you can be honest and positive about your job, but move right into a DHV. Like:

"I deliver bottled water to local restaurants. I love it because I don't take stress home with me and the hourse are great. That leaves me a lot of time to do the things I'm really passionate about, the things that really make me happy."

Invariably, the girl is going to ask you what you're passionate about. Then you can give her examples, e.g., music, art, kickboxing, etc., and then the door is open to ask her what SHE is passionate about.

My idea for this post is to figure out how to make your job a DLV since they are going to ask eventually. Reading the bottled water job my first thought was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dihydrogen_Monoxide_Hoax which I always thought was killer. It's like wearing a stop plate tectonics shirt. If they don't know what you can BS for 20 minutes before letting them off the hook.

Since I'm a technical recruiter, its hard to tell them. Once I say I'm a Technical Recruiter, "It's can you find me a job?" Then I automatically go into professional mood. So I usually downplay my career. Now when they ask me "what is that?" I usually say "I get to reward people with better careers" and I even give them a story about a client that was unemployed for 6 months and was about to loose his house. Then I came in and got him an interview and an offer letter at a fortune 500 and he was so excited he cried in my office. LOL... that one is golden
