Two girls asked me that last weekend. It seems like EVERY GIRL I know is just lining up to get at me. I feel like I'm on an episode of that show....what's it called...."The Bachelor".
I'm kinda picky and selective I guess.

it depends on how they ask this question and the girl. Some girls will ask this to see if you are settling down material or willing to do a long term relationship.

Other girls might just think you are cool and wondering why you aren't taken.

That's a good one. I've actually never been asked this but I would say something similar. I get asked why I don't have a girlfriend and I usually say "Well, it's hard to explain..I actually had a dream about my next girlfriend. So I'm just waiting on her. In the dream it had her name it bright, bold letters...you kinda remind me of it" then she asks what the name was and if her name is Mary I say "M-A-R-E-Y, so you see we could never have a relationship...maybe we could be friends though...hey, do you think her name is Marey?". I just add or subtract a letter or pick a name that is very similar.
