Dallas PUA

I drove out to Uptown Dallas last night (Tuesday) but it was pretty much dead -- didn't open a single set. I wanted to start a 30-day challenge, but it's looking tougher than I thought. Where can I go on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesday in the DFW area with decent crowds?

Those of you doing the 30-day challenge, where are you going on these off days?

Myself and red were in uptown as well last night, you should have hit us up.

Sunday through Wednesday is very different from the weekend. It is a lot more low-key and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People are more than willing to just sit and shoot the shit with you, the challenge here being that it is harder to escalate (from my experience at least). Don't expect big crowds.

For weekdays, you will find that people like to have an excuse to go out - there are a lot less people out for the hell of it. The people who are out for the hell of it either work in the service industry or have very strange hours (like nurses). Start searching for events for weekdays - whether it be drink specials, karaoke, open mics, dance lessons, or whatever gimmicks bars use. I'd say that would be your best bet for now.

Tomorrow is my last day on a 30-day challenge. All I will say is prepare to take lots of naps and still be behind on your sleep.

Point noted. How many sets were you able to open last night?

Congrats on the 30-day challenge. How did it go? Do you see a noticeable increase in skill level after 30 days? Is it worth doing compared to 3 nights/wk?

back in the day when I was all into the night life, there were THE places to go, but you had to be "in the know". THE places to go changed when word got out and more average folks showed up. The site which was accurate a decade ago in naming THE places to go was http://dfwexposed.com/nighthot.html

For good day game and a great deal you should head to Naan Sushi in Uptown. On sundays they have half off sushi, burgers, and other meals as well as $3 bottomless mimosas and bloody maries. That's right, $3 to drink as much as you want. I got a sushi roll and drank heavily for $6 in uptown.
