Great place in the summertime. I would not go there when its cold. Its up to you, of course.
If you have a lair meetup there, there is plenty of space. But please, don't ruin the place.

Went there once last summer. A lot of people no doubt. Not exactly what I would call a 'refined' crowd, but a lot of people no doubt. Also, it would not hurt to bring a volleyball.

Been there a bunch of times, I find it more of a family oriented place. I take my daughter to swim and play in the lake while I enjoy a cold beer and watch people. Its definitely a good day two or follow up spot. Its easy and relaxing atmosphere for friends to chill and kick it. However I wouldn't rule out the possibility of sarging opportunities though not in large groups.
