Black Fin in Addison

Went there last night around 10:30PM. This place used to be cool. The sets would open consistantly. But the last 2 times I was there the bitch shield seemed to be up. I thought I was having an off day so I left there at about 1PM and went to Sherlocks in Addison. I opened 3 sets in the one hour I was there and every set hooked.
Any one else have similar experience here?

No. There isn't a place in Addison, or any of the other suburbs, in which I've been unable to consistently open and hook sets.
It's when you get closer to the city center (Uptown, Downtown Dallas and Ft. Worth) that I begin to have trouble with the bitch shield.

Agreed. Addison is probably the easiest to pull from. I can consistently number close at finn. However, I DO think that finn has it's share of lower quality women who think they are of high quality. Myself and playercool met the worst human being alive in the parking lot at finn, she went on a rant about how much money she supposedly had blah blah. It was completely out of nowhere. I also dislike the fashion nazi's who work the door.

Haha! You know you're dressed to impress when the bouncers wearing all black tell you that you can't wear whatever it is that you're wearing.

I havent worn my zebra stripe cowboy hat in a while. It might be time to break it out again. Peacocking at it's finest.

They generally let me in wearing whatever insane outfit I have on... I've gotten to know a few of the people at BF...

OK...
I got blown out of the first set by a UG3 that got upset that I ran the ring finger routine on the HB8 in the 4set. When I went to shake her hand she did a cold back turn and I literally watched the HB8s BT drop. So this may have affected my frame.
I will recheck the basics, like BL, Tone, metaframe etc and will check it out again.

I don't give two shits who you are some nights you aren't going to be at your best. You will not run good sets, you will not number close, you will not pull.
That is just part of this game. I mean there could be all sorts of reasons that your game is not clicking. BL, mentality, super crazy bitch shields, you thinking the venue sucks, etc.
I usually have pretty good success at Finn. It was my original stomping grounds a few months ago when I got into the game. I'm sure I will hit the place up from time to time. I really like Uptown lately though so I don't get there as often.
And yes they are gay about the dress code. No beanies, no fedoras, no whatever they want to say no to. Very annoying.

Black Finn used to be pretty good, last couple times i've been there, it's seemed to have gone down hill in quality of women. It may have had it's peak. i remember commenting on that even a month or so ago too.
Addison seems to be about the easiest place to open and hook as others have said, especially Sherlock's which is usually filled with community guys on any given night i think. But even with that, it's shootin fish in a barrel there, i usually have a fun night there full of game.

Do these places have a cover charge?
