Lakes in DFW

If you are sans boat I assume you will be standing on the shore trying to holler at broads? Haha...from what I'm told, not having a boat or knowing somebody with one can make things a little difficult.
But as far as bars by the lake go, you could probably go to Sneaky Pete's in Lewisville or Glass Cactus in Grapevine. And if you're willing to make the drive, Weekends Bar & Grill in Rowlett.
