Haunted Houses

Ok it is that time of year again.

I haven't done the Haunted house thing for like 8 years... (young kids)
Anyway, A couple of weeks ago, I went to the Cutting Edge and the Texas Scaregrounds.

Cutting Edge is a nice setup but it was too dark to be scared and too much loud heavy metal music in the back ground to get scared by a "boo".
You can't see it or hear it. They flood your senses.

Texas Scareground is a nice setup too. Not too dark and not too loud. I did get scared... a 6 year old kid in costume walked up and went "boo"... I didn't expect knee high ghost.

Tonight I will be going to "Screams" with my neighbors.
My 11 yr old is going. MY 9 yr old is backing out at the last minute because she got scared at the Halloween store by the Chucky Doll. HAHA.

None of these venues are good for sarging... just day2

Screams was Great.

Cutting Edge $28
Texas ScarGrounds (Kaos) $28 for all 3 haunted houses
Screams $22 for the whole area.

If you can only go to one, I would go to Screams.
Online Group price of 12 people is $16 per person.
$2 off coupon avail at Burger King.
The level of actors are better, the costumes are better, the lighting & sound are better, and the food are better (not the Best) compare to the other haunted houses.
Fast Pass are $15 extra... I would suggest getting it, if you get there after 8PM... cause the lines will get long.
You can get in first and than think about buying a Fast Pass later.

There is an attraction called "Trail of Terror" at Screams, it cost $7 extra.
It is worth it. The actors are focused on you. And you would want to go in a smaller group of 2 to 4 people.

Anybody else have an opinion on Haunted Houses to go to???
