Concert on the Lake

Postby Guest » Tue Apr 28, 2009 10:17 pm

Thursday nights at the Harbor in Rockwall there is a concert.
It consists of one band and they play a certain genre of music, all cover songs of that genre.
It starts at 7pm.
It is kinda cool because Lake Ray Hubbard is a HUGE recreational spot in Rockwall/Rowlett so many Rockwall/Rowlett people have boats and on Thursday nights at the Harbor in Rockwall, they pull up to the docks and park their boats so they can enjoy the festivities.
If you do not have a boat you can still participate by bringing a towel or something and setting it on the grass in fron of the band.
You can drink there, everyone does, but I would not suggest you get drunk.
Rockwall cops are mofos on drunk driving.
They WILL give you the breathalizer even if you are clearly sober.
They will take every chance they can get to throw your ass in jail.
On a lighter note, obviously if you follow all the driving laws and make sure you are not disturbing the public than you should have no problem with the cops.
The girls are many and of all age ranges.
A lot of times they are in their bikinis, but if they aren't iwearing bikinis they are wearing short skirts.
Plenty of milfs there, but they are usually accompanied by their kids, but the kids are let lose to play.
Last Thursday night there weren't too many hot girls in my age range(above 18, under 30) but I think that amount will increase drastically once school lets out.
So basically, I think Concert on the Lake will be a good place to sarge over the summer.
If you don't feel like going to a bar on Thursday, or out to a club, Concert on the Lake is a good place you can go with your friends to just chill out and drink, or sarge.

Yes!
I forgot about that!
It is within a stones throw of the restaurants!
There are many restaurants down there.
Gloria's, Dodies, Ruby Tuesdays, Blue Canyon
(All of these are pretty expensive and I hear the drinks are too)
You might want to BYOB lol.
I think all of these places have a bar so if ya'll wanted to ya'll could practice bar game.
Also, there is a patio at every restaurant and on these nights the patio is the most fought for spot to sit at.
You could probably even game over the fence that seperates the sidewalk and the patio, it is not uncommon to see people walk by a table and someone at that table get their attention and they talk over the fence(the fence is waist high)
There is also a movie theater and ice cream place there if yall wanted to game at those places
and there is a Hilton on the harbor for those of you out of town pros that pull a possible SNL, ya'll can book a room.
I'll post a list of the bands when I get the chance, you won't have heard of any of the bands because they are lesser known bands but w/e
