I met this girl on Plentyoffish.com. It's a free dating site. Her pics looked nice and I liked her profile. The website has an IM feature that lets you IM anybody who is currently on the website. This was kinda funny, I was reading her profile and she IMed me at the same time! There's no way for her to know that I was reading her profile at the time she IM'ed me! That's weird. We Im'ed for a bit, I told her I needed to go, she said to call her sometime if I wanted to and then gave me her Tel. #. I waited two or three days and then called her. She likes to talk and talk and talk and talk and......etc....and is just fed up with the online dating thing and all the games (she's close to my age, 37). The first conversation lasted about 30-45 minutes. I was online Thursday night and got a IM from her wanting to talk, so I called her. We talked for a good three hours! Good lord that gal likes to talk. I'm meeting her at a bar next Wednesday after she gets off work. Friday, I got this e-mail:
Good Afternoon !! Just thought I would shoot you a quick note to say " Hi " and wish you a great day !! I really enjoyed talking with you again last night and I apologize for keeping you so late... I promise it won't be a frequent occurrence, as I do respect you and your time & goals. I am sooo excited for you , and I am certain you will pass the PCAT with " flying colors " !! Then we will REALLY have reason to celebrate !! ( Will this mean I will have to give you full permission to help me with my " Texan " accent ? ) I told her I had a degree in Speech Pathology and could help her learn how to talk Texan. She's from the Northern US and talks a little "funny". I playfully negged her on it throughout our phone conversation. I Told her I could fix it for her.
We have alot in common with our goals in academics with healthcare and our loves of music thus far, and each time I talk with you, ( we've only spoken twice)I am intrigued to know more of you.... you're a real genuine, down to earth, intelligent person and I find that attractive, not to mention I love your sense of humor and you are also alot of fun... I enjoy our talks immensely and I hope we can continue to get to know each other...
I am off to work at 3pm, and will be off at 11 pm ...TGIF !!![/red]

I saw this before she went to work. She did call during her break....twice. I was home, but did not answer. She left a message both times. When she got home from work I received an e-mail from her saying she had sent me an e-card. It was cute, light-hearted, humorous wordplay on the word "ewe" (you) type of e-card.
On the phone I seemed to have blown right through A1, A2, and A3, and seem to be getting into C1. Since I've had such a long conversation with her I want to run the "universal truths" routine when I meet up with her (if she looks as good in person as in the pics and isn't a UG). If she's a UG I'll try to move her to the "friends" category.
She has no idea what I look like and after our conversation she told me she doesn't care. What she likes is my confidence and personality.
I'd appreciate any comments, and a link to some good "universal truths" to help out in Comfort.
