FR: She called me

A few weeks ago, I was out celebrating a birthday when I spotted a girl across the club that I found really attractive. I grabbed three of the girls who were in our group and asked them to come with me.

I approached her directly and told her that I had noticed her from afar and would regret if I didn't come talk to her to see if she was someone I would be attracted to. I introduced my 3 friends to her and then as girls seem to so easily do, they all started a conversation.

After about 10 minutes of the girls chatting with me interjecting sporadically, I told the girl that we had to get back to our party but that I would like to talk to her again sometime when it was just the two of us in conversation.

We exchanged numbers and my friends and I went back to our party.

Then life happened and I forgot to call her.

Last night, I get a call from her. I missed her call (because I was on a date) and she hung up without leaving a message.

Later on, I return her call. She tells me that she had waited and waited for my call but that eventually realized I wasn't going to call her so she called me because she didnt want the opportunity to slip away.

We talked for a good 20 minutes. I was being silly - teasing her, calling her names and generally joking around. She got to laughing so hard so started coughing. Then I got her myspace info, told her I would call her later in the week and Seinfelded her (left on a high note).

I then immediately sent her a silly myspace friend request and then looked at all of her pictures. It turns out, almost all of her friends are hotter than her (and she is really attractive) so I am going to try and befriend her vs. try and date her.

She is a cool chick, has a really cute laugh and someone I think will make a great friend.
