So, I have been really working my social circle really hard over the last few months to the detriment of going to bars or clubs which is why you probably haven't seen me out lately. One of my main goals was to get more established in "the scene". I have always had some disdain for the "pretty people" in Dallas as I have always thought they were too pretentious. However, a while back, I realized that my opinion was formed from being outside that circle and that until I got to know more than just a few individuals in the pretty people scene, I was pre-judging.

Plus, if I can meet a really cool, down to earth girl (or three), who happens to be HOT, then yay for me!

Anyway, my work has started to pay off. Not only have I successfully gamed a Miss [i]Prestigious Award[/i] 2006, several models and what seems like countless strippers, I just got invited to participate in a private fashion show....as a model. Any of you who have met me know that I don't have model looks but I can be stylish when I want to be. I believe I was invited on that pretext.

The show is this weekend. I plan on getting to know as many of the models as possible while I am there. Wish me luck. If anything of significance happens, I will post about it.
