Mini-FR: Day Game
On Friday, I opened a sort of cute girl in Starbucks. She had a shirt that said something about being a delivery nurse, so I started talking to her about that. The conversation was going really well. But when her drink was ready, they got it wrong and she went up to have them fix it. I made the mistake of standing there waiting for her (I should have gone off to the side to get a napkin or something to see if she would look for me and restart the conversation). When she came back, she walked right up to me with a smile and said, “what?” I blanked! I didn’t know what to say, so I bailed. No, that’s not true, I knew what to say, I just ejected for no reason. I need more practice experiencing social pressure.

FR: Night Game
So, after the meeting on Friday, I met up with Mojo and some of the other guys at Black Fin. Method told me “the tattoo opener” and watched me open a set with it. That set didn’t go well, but that’s ok. DeuceX talked to me during the set and Method thought he was AMOGing me. That was funny.

There were three girls who were dressed pretty slutty, one was wearing little white shorts with black boots. I'll call her WhiteShorts. They were hammered. Omni opened them. I did the ring finger routine on WhiteShorts. That opened the rest of the set to me, but it was hard to keep their focus, so I just talked to WhiteShorts. We eventually ejected, because we weren’t getting any IOIs.

I opened a girl, I'll call her TDG (Typical Dallas Girl), by asking her if she was a typical Dallas girl. WD told me that one. Almost every girl will say no. Maybe it’s the word “typical” that communicates a negative connotation, but no girl wants to admit that she’s a typical Dallas girl (or typical New York girl, Los Angeles girl, Chicago girl, etc.). But TDG proudly said yes. So she told me why she’s a typical Dallas girl, and I told her that most girls think it’s a negative thing, but it’s good that she owns up to it. Also, she had a big ring on her middle finger, so I did the ring finger routine. While I was talking to TDG, a guy popped in, handed her a beer, and then walked away. Now she was holding two beers, so I teased her about being a two-fisted drinker: “are you sure you haven’t been in a ‘Girls Gone Wild’ video?” After a few minutes, TDG said, “”I have to get back to my friends, but why don’t you guys come meet them” (IOI). Omni and I went over and talked to her friends, a blond and a brunette. One of the guys from the lair was getting blond's phone number, but then walked away. So now Omni and I were in the set with TDG, blond, and brunette. Blond was sitting in a chair and the rest of us were standing (more on that later). Some other guy walked up, handed brunette a drink, and then walked off. She said, “what am I going to do with this?” I held out my hand, she gave it to me, and now it was my drink.

Mojo told me that I wasn’t as much in the set as Omni and I should have taken blond’s seat from her. I noticed a guy talking to a girl and he was very AFC. He had his arms crossed. His eyes were bugging out, and he was nodding like she was telling him the most interesting shit he had ever heard in his life. I pointed this out to Mojo who walked right up to the guy. Mojo said something like, “so, how do you two know each other?” She said, “we just met.” The oblivious guy said, “I’m sorry, I forgot your name.” We all said, “oh no! You don’t forget her name!” Oblivious guy said, “well, she’s very beautiful, but…” Mojo said, “now guys, you don’t tell a 10 that she’s beautiful, but you can tell her, because she’s a 7... and a half. You can tell her she’s beautiful.” So I'll just call her 7.5.

Oblivious guy slinked off and Mojo joined a party somewhere, leaving Omni and me with 7.5. The three of us talked for a while. She was with a UG6 who was being hit on by some other guy. He had a friend lurking around wanting to talk to 7.5, but Omni and I were in set with her. I could tell that her friend wanted 7.5 to talk to her guy’s friend, but it wasn’t happening. After talking for a while about how she had been drinking for 6 straight hours, I made a joke about forgetting her name. Then I said, “so, what’s my name?” She forgot! Not an IOI, but she was pretty drunk. So I said, “I know a trick to make it so you never forget my name, but you’ll have to turn around.” She said, “turn around… I don’t know about this.” I said, “just turn around.” She did, I grabbed her butt, and said my name in her ear. She turned around, and I said, “so what’s my name?” She perked up with a smile and said my name with enthusiasm. I mean, as she said my name, she lifted up onto her toes. We talked for a while, and a couple of times I said, “what’s my name?” and I got the same perky response back. I told her that I anchored my name into her subconscious. So, I got her number. I think I got to A3 with her, because I qualified her. In fact, after she talked about being a medical researcher and having a degree in biochemistry, I pulled out a Juggler line and said, "wow, not only are you sexy, but you are fun AND intelligent." She responded as if she actually earned my very genuine compliment.

By this time, Omni had gone off looking for another set. While I was looking for him, I ran into brunette and started talking to her. Blond and TDG walked up and we all started talking again. Blond immediately took a seat. I asked for her hand. She handed me her beer. I said, “not your beer, your hand. I want to show you something.” I got her on her feet, pulled her like I was going to spin her, and took her seat, and then teased her about it. So I used Mojo's advice and locked myself into the set. Good stuff!

It was a good night. I feel much more comfortable in the field. I just have to tweak my game, calibrate better, push the right buttons for attraction, and ISOLATE.

Great FR. You could tell from that guy’s body language he was very closed up. When he (I think it was him) dropped his glass and broke it, I jumped right in and made a comment about the situation to both of them. Then I turned to him and started convo, making him into my new friend. After that, I asked how they knew each other - they just met, which we already knew. He ejects and the set is all ours. As for the "don't call her beautiful" remark, I don't say that to women I am gaming. My aim was to point out to you not to call beautiful girls, beautiful - though there are always exceptions. Shortly after I said in a joking manner, "Opps, did I just mess up your chances with that guy. He was really into you". Of course she just shrugs him off. By saying that I am acknowledging that the other guy was blown out by me, showing my alphaness while communicating that I am not clueless as other guys and can read body language. Then I left so you guys can get some practice :)

I forgot about the dropped glass. That was a nice opportunity to break up the set. I wasn't complaining about the "beautiful" remark. It was classic. And I teased her too about ruining her chances with the guy. I said, "let's find you another guy. How about that one over there? He seems like a nice guy." She was pretty drunk. She was oblivious to what was going on.
I was just having a good time. I wasn't taking anything too seriously.

I just posted a little about the "Opps, did I just mess up your chances with that guy. He was really into you" remark in Techniques & Tactics. It is a great way to joke around with her. Had a great time that night. Thanks!
