When it's on, it's on

Went rolling with WD and Vec tonight and had another great time. It is amazing how my attitude has changed since the mini seminar. We started at the Quarter Bar in Addison, for a little BS session and to drill Vec about the weekend bootcamp in Austin. It sounds like I missed a great time. We hit Black Fin first. Good ration. I was in set in 30 seconds. It was a short set and I got a free pack of smokes out of it (It sucks that I am quitting). We went around to the pool table and set up court. Vec is a badass. He has no remorse or fear of sets. I said, "seated set 5 o'clock" and before I could say anything he was in. He is amazing.

Long and short of it we eventually got blown out. It was no big and we took over the table and killed a beer or two talking game. We then bounced to Martini Ranch.

Now I had a bad vibe about MR the first time we went. It seemed like a tough venue to crack. With my new attitude it was a great venue.

On the way in I started BSing with a guy who was headed in too. By the time I got to the door, I was friends with one of the DJs. He had just pulled in in time for his set. I like when the universe decides to DHV me.

i walked up to the bar and opened the dude next to me. A free manhattan later we were buddies. I went to look for WD and Vec who drove down together and on the way I got caught waiting for an AFC to take a pic of a few HBs. While waiting I opened HB7 who was next to me watching. Solid game. She was in to me. It was on. I won't go into it but I eventually ejected. I could have pushed it but it was my first set I wanted to find the guys.

We BSed for a bit when I found them and we decided to walk the venue. We lost Vec somewhere and WD and I BSed for a bit before we went looking for him.

We found him in a seated 2 set. I jumped in to wing. The blocker was cute so I figured, WTF I'll run game. I sat at the far end of the table and started running game. She was cool too. We talked club scene and such. I motioned her over to sit with me, clearing Vec to go deep with his target. We hit it off and I moved her to the bar, etc. It was on the rest of the set. I AMOGed the occasional AFC and ran solid game. End of night I number closed her and said good night and headed out. She is my new social director.

If you find a party girl and run good game on her I highly recommend dubbing her as your new social director. It is a great hookup for the cool places in town. Also, social directors make great pivots.
