On wednesday night I went to 'Cup of Joes' in Arlington and talked to three girls. I was talking to this 8, basic fluff talk but throwing in some c+f stuff like calling her a nerd. The one thing I found that kept the conversation going was Mystery's bait, hook, reel, and release. Ask a question, if she answers then compliment her or whatever, and then push her back. At this point your's truly chickened out a bit and went to meet my friends.
On Friday, I was in the gym and successfully made six approaches asking about someone's workout routine. On saturday, I made my six approaches at Blu Bar, and Mavericks with my cell phone routine. Sunday I did three approaches at WalMart with my gift for my neice routine. Funny enough an 8 responded well whereas these two 4s were giving me attitude. I then did four approaches at the gym with my usual routine.
Some general thoughts...The key I found after doing more and more approaches is incorporating approaches into your comfort zone. Before I used to be scared as hell to approach groups of girls, now it is rather easy for me. I used to be shit scared to talk to people in the gym and store, but now I can open effectively. I am starting to see changes in myself.
Another BIG key is personal style. Dress well ALL THE TIME! The responses I get when I am dressed well as opposed to jeans and a t-shirt have significant contrasts.
