My First Attempt with Flight Attendant
Posted: Thu Jan 11, 2007 6:26 pmI was just reading Elsewhere's first attempt and thought I'd share mine. I'm a little different from most PUA's because I am happily married, have 3 kids and a 4th on the way. I think having the ability to pick up women is the ultimate skill and confidence builder.
Anyway, I had just finished reading The Game and was on an Air Canada flight to Toronto. I decided to try The Cube on this really cute flight attendant. I was super nervous because somehow I figured she'd call bullshit. She'd gone around handing out headphones and was in the back galley so I got up enough nerve and asked her about the inflight movie. Then I said she must really meet a lot of interesting people and asked her if she'd ever been 'cubed'. I ran the Cube, peaked her interest and impressed the hell out of her. I left her hanging by not explaining what the flowers meant and went back to my seat to watch the movie.
This chick came to my seat about 5 mins later saying 'So, what do the flowers mean?!?'. I made her sit next to me and made some shit up on the spot. She saw I was reading Anthony Robbins - 'Awaken The Giant Within' and started qualifying herself to me about how she studies yoga and reads all these books about inner self. However, I was way too unprepared to move this thing forward and started interrupting her to tell her 'duh, yeah I like yoga. too'. I began qualifying myself to her. It didn't seem to affect her interest but I moved too fast when I asked for her number. She back pedaled and said she couldn't give it to me.
We had made a really strong connection and somehow I hadn't generated enough attraction. No matter. This was proof that this shit works and can be learned and perfected. I am a believer and try to practice as often as I can given my marital status.
