Aura - August 5th 2010

Hi Everyone,

So one of my late night venues is Aura. It's a pretty good scene for a Thursday because its not to busy and there are some ladies in there.

Well I opened a 3 set in a dumb way. I didnt think it would really work. First time to actually approach in a club setting.

I just used a simple opinion opener about my buddies shirt. Neg'd my target, won her friends, target was getting really upset. So I gave her a little attention and if she gave me attitude I just ignored.

Eventually we all ended up dancing.

This boosted my confidence and then not only were they dancing with me but so were alot of HB's.

My Target eventually was all over me and I thought I had it and so I used "Do you wanna kiss me?" She said "If you buy me a drink". . . Im not buying a girl a drink. . . and because of this she didnt give me her #. I am kind of confused. . .plenty of IOI's, Kino, shit she was grabbing my junk until 2 AM. . .

I think if I isolated away from the dance floor a little she would have given her # to me and or many other things!

If your buddy is a creeper is that bad for you or a good thing?

Do you tell your friend what he's doing wrong?

My target at the beginning of the night say's "You're not as cool as you think you are!" Is it bad for a girl to tell you that Target or not?

Should I have bought her a drink? Everything I read says "NO".

Still need to work on openning when sober! I can open during the day but when they start wearing all those flash and bright dresses, high heels, and made up. . . I get a little nervous!

This wont be the end I am sure. She knows where I go Thurs now!

i use the "ill buy you a drink if you buy me a drink" <--has worked out pretty well for the most part. i usually get a concise answer ("ok or deal") you also risk more attitude but mostly playful in my experience.

ive also gotten away with the "haha you seem like a smart girl ill buy you a drink if you can pass my test. if not, you havta buy me one" <she feels challenged and intrigued> *5 questions game*

i used these back before i actively started trying to use a structured game. i only memorized a few tips and the 5Q game but luckily i fell into these situations often and the 5 questions game saved me a lot of face and money. not to mention it builds value because you look smarter than her! chicka chicka yeah!

I have also overcame a lot of my AA by changing the 3sec rule to the 0sec rule (have a plan, stroll in calmly and immediately after entrance into the club walk right up to the nearest thin looking blur. after approach i look at nothing but thier face (yes, ive actually never even seen some bodies until departure sometimes, shame.) *do not order a drink first! you can use that as a way out after number close or say after a bit "you know i dont even have a drink yet come with me to get one"
yeah you may get a butterface but hey its good practice right? helped me tons!!!

still AFC status here but i've used the 5Q's with great success even after rocky openings in the past. As for my 0sec rule, after the first one or two (usually the first) im cleared of AA...i loosen up, approaches lock in and i now have the freedom to fuck up everything else haha.
