Probably. Pure MM isn't really effective even in bars which is what it was designed for. I just have a couple of comments on The Cube here and here's some advice...take it or leave it. Disclaimer: I wasn't there and this is just one online guy talking to another.

1. Doing The Cube or any other longer routine or cold read takes good rapport or a good "people sense".
"Creepy" could mean alot of things. But here's something that is true and I want you to think about this.....
It is impossible to be creepy when we have rapport. Why? Because we are like the other person. So if a girl calls you "creepy" that means that you and her were not "the same" and were not feeling together.

You will never be called "creepy" when you're giving, you have rapport or you have a sense that "its on".

I'm going out on a limb on that one but I think many of us would agree. If you have rapport, its hard to be creepy. Even "try hard" creepy isn't all that bad when you have some rapport.

I also hope you're feeling me on this one and I'm not busting your balls on it. This is more of a pace and lead type thing that alot of us, myself included, sometimes forget.

2. When you do something like "The Cube", it should be a memorized, well rehearsed routine. If you flub it a few times, don't worry. Just get back up and do it again. You're like an athlete who's training. So don't stop using it if you fail a few times.
Again, remember that you're a giver not a taker. If people shun you because of that they're just fools.
