Dallas PUA

I met up with Vector76 and Knight Rose at starbucks at 9:30. We did our opening sets at Dukes. I really don't like that place which is good because We were just looking to get blown out of the sets to take the sting off. We blew out of there and went to lower Greenville. We rode with KR. If you've seen Austin Powers, you know his parking job when we got there. That place ain't what it used to be. We had fun anyway. Tough sets, trashy people. We tore that place up. We hit every bar from the street. They should rename that place The Sausage Factory.

I worked through my transition sticking points and got well into DHV. Vector sent me into a 4 set, 2 and 2 only 1 HB about an 8. I opened the guy with Jealous girlfriend, he pulled his wife, the HB in. He then turned away while I DHVed her. I started feeling bad when I realized I had her and could steal his wife on their anniversary. I ejected and went to wing KR on his 2 set, 1 guy 1 HB. I distracted the blocker so well that I DHVed the girl from KR... oops. He ejected and I pulled the handles a little bit after.

I ran into my old roommate who works at a bunch of clubs there, some kind of manager I guess. It was cool to see him.

Vec ran his usual awesome game. He works really subtle, It's hard to keep track of what he's doing but it works great.

We retired to Jay's Diner on Midway near Beltline to debrief. We talked about what worked well and what we need to work on. I gotta focus on intent and transition now.

While we were at Jays, I opened an HB9 at the table next to us. I think the table was a 9 or 10 set mixed. I was reeling her in, she wanted to hang with us as her group was leaving but I thing I pulled too hard and lost her.

Note to everyone, don't try to open a 2 set MF with who lies more if the guy just confessed or got caught cheating on her.

Great night, fun times, working tomorrow night so I'm not making plans. If someone else sets something up I will try to join in. It won't be until after 10:30 though.

Dancer is doing ballroom tomorrow night so if anyone wants to learn any steps he has the hook up. Send him a PM.

While you weren't looking I chatted up that beer girl who was obviously bored. Not really sure where I was trying to go with it but good practice, I got her laughing, but very little kino (one of my weaknesses).

Also (in a less-awesome moment) I opened a mixed 4-set (2M, 2F), and got one HB and both guys interacting off the opener. I thought I was in because I was talking and they were all listening. Transition to my "grandma" story which until tonight had always had both the men and women laughing their asses off, but it didn't fly at all. After the punch line I heard, "chirp, chirp..." Weird. I think they were not really listening, but were instead occupied with thoughts of "who the heck is this guy and why is he asking these questions and telling these stories?"

Best set for me was 4F and 2M, but they were sorta scattered so at first it wasn't clear who was who. One guy was within earshot and obviously very bored, so I opened him. He's definitely very much of a "nice guy." Poor guy. I asked, and he told me he was with HBCurlyHair (she was totally ignoring him) and that they had just met yesterday. He also said HBYoung was having her 21st birthday and told me her name. So I went to HBYoung and said "Are you <name>?" and she said yes, and I said "I hear you're turning 21." It was as if I had been formally introduced. The set flew open and I talked to HBYoung and HBNotIndian. Tried to get a number from HBNotIndian as we were leaving but got "I have a boyfriend." I think it was insufficient A2/A3 because the interaction was just open (which "nice guy" handled for me) and then "chatter" which contains a teeny bit of DHV and a teeny bit of Qualification.

One final comment: that HB (I'm not sure about the 9, i'll just call her HBAsian) at the adjacent table at J's? SHE FOUND ME ON MYSPACE AND SENT ME A MESSAGE! Really surprised me! A few messages back and forth, and I got her # and called her. I wish I knew what it is I am doing but I'm not complaining!

Awesome! It is nice when a girl puts in effort in finding you. The more effort she puts in you the more she values you.

For the boyfriend thing, I knew I wasn't close anyway, we had just made chit-chat briefly, no real attraction. I probably should have tried harder, just for practice, even though I wasn't all that interested. I could have tried something like, "your friends like me, (which was true) and I just want to know when all y'all are going out." They were in a sorority. Actually now that I think of it I really should be kicking myself. Getting invited to one of those events would definitely be worth the extra effort. Crap.

Yeah if that's not a big I. O. freakin I then I don't know what is. And yeah, investment. I love to see investment. The strange thing is we didn't even really talk much at J's. I think I gave off desireless (Tao of Steve #1), and hit the preselection switch pretty good (if by accident), since we were discussing whether A or B is a better date (day2). That, and perhaps being part asian myself were the only reasons I can think of. At our table I did tell one funny story, and made a funny joke. She may have noticed us laughing.

Okay, I'm fixing up my myspace page. As far as who lies more, there was a 2 set MF at an adjacent table at Jay's and they were in deep drama. In talking about how to open the set, one of the options that Vector came up with was who lies more. It tore us up. We couldn't stop laughing. We were definitely the fun table for the after bar rush there. everyone kept looking at us.

For drama couple, the girl had obviously been crying a lot, the guy had a very serious look to him. KR caught her saying "how could you do this to me..." etc.

We were speculating how it might go. I think it was Deuce who suggested "... okay, I can only stay for a second, my buddies are in the parking lot, in the car with the engine running, but who cheats more? ... "

We are so evil.

The HBnot Indian is my concoction. I made it clear that if the HBs were Indian it was my set. I need to own it. So when ever we saw a Indian looking chick Vector and Deuce may open but if they were truly Indian then I was to be called in as a wing. So vector was making clear that the HB was not Indian...lol...thanks vector.

OK... I probably opened about 20 sets. One HB6.5 Indian set. most of them were maybe 10 min sets but one couple (deuce mentions it) were longer and deuce winged for me. Most of the sets opened but couldnt get too much beyond open. Deuce is an awesome wing as he can story tell for hours on end. keeps the others occupied.

Over all I had 2 memorable sets. The HBbartender and the 2 set that Deuce winged me on. Since deuce posted on the 2 set I will just post on teh bartender. The HBbartender chatted real well and was pretty much ignoring the rest of the customers and talking to me. I opened with..why is this place so dead tonight? She started explaining. I ran the coin routine, the ring finger routine and fluffed about her being in nursing school. I walked away and sat on a table away from the bar. When I looked over to her she mouthed something to me accross the room which I lost. so I took that as an IOI and went back to the bar when HBNotIndian took a camera from her purse. At this point vector was talking to the rest of the group of HBNotIndian. I opened HBNot Indian with...OMG did you just pull a gun out of your purse...she smiled and said No and showed me the camera. she is in photography school. OK...so I walk to the other side and called HBBartender. I tried to # close but she backed out in the end. Said she was moving to Austin and that I was not from the Area anyway. I need a come back for that. I know how to DHV and close with Mysterys creative #close and the girl certainly thinks of me as an interesting guy but I need to convert.

Thats it guys....if yorue reading this and have not gone out with us yet...you need to get out. Deuce and Vector are awesome and we had a blast.

F@$k i'll be down to go out again and not back out like i did that nite just too tired from work.

When I get that BF line, I like to use:
