Mad Dog is an opening machine. I watched him tonight and was really impressed.

Wish I'd hung around a bit longer. I got out of there before the hail started coming down. Of course, there weren't that many people there, either.

I got there after ten..( stayed home until the hail storm was over) ..and saw him talking to some girls. I couldn't hear what he was saying so you'll have to get that from him. The girl were totally entertained. they were laughing and smiling and really seemed to be enjoying the interaction and one of them was playing with her hair while listening to him. It ended after a few minutes, but he was very social the whole night meeting new people. As far as his tactics I think he could better fill you in on that. He seemed to have no fear going up to women and talking to them which is much more than I can say for myself. I definitely think he's ready to move up to the next level.
Also his friend (sorry I don't know his handle and don't want to write his name on here) was pretty good. I saw him isolated with a chick and in deep conversation. Later in the evening the girl was looking for him and he was isolated in deep conversation with an even hotter chick. I didn't get to talk to him much but that girl was really hot and was hanging out with him for a long time. I'd like to know more about what he was doing.
I was kind of a loser I approached one chick and talked to her for a while but she was from out of state visiting and I'm not really looking for a one night stand so I moved on after a while, but she was nice. I talked a few times to girl mad dog introduced me to and to some women that I already knew. later i danced with a hot chick and tried talking to her after we got of the dance floor but she bailed after a minute but was super hot.
surprisingly even with the storm there were plenty of nice looking women there.
One other thing.....I think next time we need to agree on what to say when someone asks us how we know each other. On girl did ask me that and I just said oh I met him here a few weeks ago, because I didn't really know what to say. Also, If any of you see me out I'd prefer if you called my name and not my handle ....i don't want to have to explain that to anyone.

I always say "Oh, we met on a dating website. It was like magic." It always gets a laugh and they drop the subject.

That's a good way to handle it. I usually say we met at whatever bar we first hung out at. If everyone makes that a general rule of thumb, we'll all be on the same page in case they ask up separately without each other knowing we got asked.
It makes us look more social if we can make new male friends at bars. Right?

that sounds like a good idea...........I think anything more elaborate would get too complicated very quickly and hard to remember.

actually i was thinking about that too, i'll tend to bump into people I know, especially in addison and was concerned about that.
that is a perfect rule of thumb...

as far as the, how do you guys know eachother question goes- I usually make up something retarded- for example-
Oh, we were matadors in training together
Oh, we worked together in the circus- best damn trapeez partner you'll ever find
etc... etc... etc...
The reason I do this, is they obvoiusly know it's BS + i say it with a shit eating grin- so in order for them to really find out the truth, it forces them to be more engaged. After they ask me a few more times I may tell them the truth, or completely change the subject to something more entertaining, they will usually point out i'm evading the question- and eventually I will just be honest about it, but I don't give anything in a conversation, I make them earn it. You have to be careful though if you go too far it will end up ruining the conversation. Keep it playful :) Thats my take on it, works ok for me- but to each his own
