Martini Park is Cougar Central, as far as I could see. It was an upscale dance club with two large bars, packed with about a 2 to 1 women to men ratio - most aged between 30 and 45 I would guess but I warn that I suck at guessing ages. There was a nice little patio area outside. The problem with this place is that most of it is a dance floor, and those cougars and MILFS are pretty high energy at their age dancing around and such to the likes of whitesnake.
ANYWAY... Here's the sets. Kit opens a set of hotties (HB 8's and 9's) that are outside smoking. I'm going in with him b/c they're fucking hot and if there's wingman duties to be had here I'm all in.
He chats them up for a second, then they go inside. We walk around a bit. It's so fucking packed that it takes us like an hour to make a round I think. I have buddies there that I have to talk to so I be sure to pay them some attention too. Then my non-community natural buddy spots a lonely cougar sitting by the bar. He goes up to her with the most natural of approaches, kind of quaint. "Hi, I'm A..., this is my friend Peter." Then he leaves. I'm in set with her for an hour I guess. I play it pretty well. I number close, then go to make another round. At some point I run in to Kit again, and he ends up in another set and I go back out to the patio because I'm sick of the packed crowd. Lo and behold, our set of 9's and 8's are outside having a cigarette. I approach again "hey are you guys STILL here?"
HB9 "yeah, we're having a cigarette" I lock in. We start chatting, and it turns out we have a ton in common. So like an AFC, I play that up. Trying too hard for rapport. And get blown out with the boyfriend comment, although this time I didn't eject, i kept going. We talked for a minute, then she left with her friends to go back inside. I got the "well it was nice meeting you" handshake, which is a total double bind. If you try to stay, you look try-hard. If you leave, you leave.
I go back in and find Kit. We make a quick round, and I don't remember but I'm sure he found a set. I go back up to my friends, and my lonely cougar, HB Cougar, is sitting by herself again tsk tsk. Well, I go back in, play my game, and kiss close.
That's it. Oh wait, no it isn't.
Outside in the parking lot, I meet back up with Kit. He opens a set of cougars asking where a good spot to eat at 4am is. They answer some bullshit, i don't remember. Then he goes for the number close. The girl's like "i don't do that" and they get in the cab and drive off. As they're driving, Kit makes a large hand gesture at them, like he's hitchiking or somethign. Anyway, we're walking to our cars and the cab pulls back up. The girls are inviting us to roll with them to ihop.
So we were at ihop with them for a long while. I won't report on all of this because it had nothing to do with me. Two of them are married, and I don't game married girls. The one that was single is the one that Kit tried to number close. One of the married girls told me in private that the reason they picked us up was because the single one liked Kit, and wanted to get to know him. Anyway Kit did get his number close.
