Thursday night.
I had a must do date.... The Annual Valentine's Daddy/Daughter Dance with my 8 year old. It was nice until the shrieking and screaming whenever a song from High School Musical with playing. The little girls loves that Disney show.

After finishing the 1 1/2 hour odeal, a bunch of us Dads needed a drink, so we all headed out to GameDay in Mansfield. Thursday nights sucks. They had "RockBand" on Xbox for live music and out of 40 people at the bar only 5 were females. I wanted to build up the courage to just say hello.... but my mind blank out on any of the openings. So no AA because I didn't even approached.

That is AA, bro.

Don't worry so much about remembering the canned openers you've read in the popular material....they've all been used to death by now. Start out by just walking up and making an off-hand comment about anything.

Example:

"I never imagined being in a bar with a sound track from a freaking video game."

For now, you don't necessarily need to carry on the conversation from there...just get to where you don't have any issue flat out talking to people. Hell...open up anyone...guys or girls. You'll need to get comfortable with that before rolling in to material.

Hey I live right buy game day... We go there all the time! Horrid food though! Saturday nights are much better for ladies but I have noticed that not many single people can afford to live in this town. So we are minority here.. A bunch of us are going out tonight though out side of M town so holla..
