I went out about a month ago with some of my friends (mixed group of about 10) and a new HB 8 1/2 comes out with us who I haven't seen before, a friend of a girl friend. She's with her boyfriend, we're all at Ruby Tuesdays by the lake. I decide to target this girl. I befriend the boyfriend, but tool him at the same time. I've got my hand on his shoulder teaching him about car repairs in front of her, and he's proofing me by being fascinated. I'm taking the "lead the guys" attitude. Every time she talks to me, I blow her off like she doesn't matter. She clamors for attention, i continue to blow her off, using Mystery's "is she ALWAYS like this? Geez how do you roll with her?" anyway he's like "awwww it's ok baby" to her when I say that and cuts her food for her hahaha what a tool. My treatment of her, in my mind, is her punishment for having a boyfriend, how dare she.
We all go home and I leave it at that, knowing I'll have a chance to pick it up later with her being in my circle (don't have to chase her for a number). A week later, she breaks up with her boyfriend. She tells my friend who she works with that she thinks I'm hot and wonders if she has a chance with me. My friend proofs the hell out of me (I LIVE off my pivots, for real) with stories of my awesomeness lol.
I talk to her on the phone a couple times for like 2 minutes each time, but she's going through relationship breakup crap I don't want to listen to and I'm working on other girls same time so nothing interesting happens.
Thursday night I call her and ask her to help out that mutual friend who is going through some personal issues - no game, i'm actually needing her help. She's like "of course! blah blah" and we have some connection for the first time. We all 3 decide to meet up at Six Flags on Sunday for holiday in the park.
Sunday comes around... I have something else going on on Sunday (meaning I wanted to watch the Cowboys lol) so I blow that off, but we all agree to meet at night to watch a DVD or something at her place. I call the mutual friend, and she's like "i can't go anymore" so i'm like shit, this girl's not gonna let me over to watch a DVD just her and me, middle of the night, no comfort stage work done at all. Lo and behold, i call her and tell her the friend cancelled, and she's like "you're still coming, right?" I'm like "yeah i'll come" she's like "bring a bottle of wine" which I do, but I find out she doesn't drink???
i show up an hour late, I'm bad about that. We go rent some movie, she picks it out b/c i don't really care. We go back to her place, i don't KNOW this girl AT ALL so i know i gotta go for at least a couple hours of comfort before anything's gonna happen.
sure enough. we don't watch the movie at all. i kino escalate slowly, when she gets nervous and pulls away I take two steps back and shut her out, rinse and repeat. we end up talking for 5 hours straight. Rapport shit, i don't know. closer and closer we get, slowly, but just light touching at emotional high points.
finally, i give her my hand and ask her what she thinks of my thumb rings. she holds my hand and starts playing with my fingers and pulling my hand closer to her and says "i'm not gonna deny that I DO like you."
"Do you want me to kiss you right now?"
"I don't know"
"Let's find out"
Boom. Kissing, make out, one step forward, two steps back, LMR, "yes baby I agree it's TOO fast..." kiss her more, LMR, shut her out, she comes to me, rinse and repeat, la la la, at the end of the night....
