Too drunk

Alright, Shine and myself were out Tuesday night and I have a field report to share with everyone.

First:

Went out to Chaucer's and met up with a social circle that we had set up Sat. night. The lame part about this was that we weren't exactly on our game when we got there (it took some warming up). It felt like we stepped into a new environment mostly because the atmosphere was different. It is a restaurant as well and most of the people were secluded in small groups at tables. It seemed like we needed to change our game to directly AMOG the whole group instead of an indirect set nearby. I need to work on that.

The lame part also consisted of us not getting there till late (10:20) and not early (9:00) like we planned so we could set up more social circles before our one we were going to meet showed up (forcing them to see us as the party and we aren't needy). We when ran into our circle, they were sitting at the bar, backs facing us and only one girl actually acknowledged us there (more than a hello) and introduced us (to new friends we did not meet Sat.). The rest said hello and turned back around. So after 20 seconds of B.S. talk we left for the other bar across the room and opened a few sets.

BEWARE: VH1's the pick up artist is good for Mystery $$$ but bad for Dallas PUA. I opened two sets and they asked me if I had watched the show (I used canned material and some of my own for openers) but I ended up changing the opener a little when they asked if I had seen the show and I played it off pretty well. First two sets, not much of a response and after 5 minutes of talk, left them.

At this point Shine and I left Chaucer's and went to our friendly neighborhood Blackfinn.

Second:
Get to blackfinn and go to bar. Open up sets immediately: I opened guy next to my left (who happened to be the owner of another bar in Denton, Your Moms) and Shine (on my right) opened up a two set (HB4 and HB6)on his right. Talked to the two set for a while, had them buy us shots and the guy (now our friend) and left our guy friend with the two set to talk to more HBs (better looking).

Opened another set, girl was drunk and AMOGed her friends. She ended up giving me her drink after 10 minutes, played Styles 5 Question game and then she was too confused (hammered! Her 21st B-Day) and ended up leaving with her group but told us where she was going as if she wanted us to meet her there.

Opened up another set (HB8 three set) sitting at the bar with two guy friends loosly hanging around her and talked for 5 minute, got into a good gambit (Shine's field report about getting hit in the face by a drink by a girl Sat.) and at in the middle of the story Shine approaches and the girl loses interest and talks to friend aside her. I am wondering what I could have done to hook her better because I obviously didn't.

Then, look over and see a two set (HB8.5 and HB6.5) and the HB8.5 notions for me to remove the AFC hitting on them. I do so, AMOGed the guy and talk control of the set and told them, "the least the could do is buy me a drink." So they did, "yes." This is the part that I think I fucked up on:
I should have excepted the drink, thrown a slight neg and politely left.

Instead, I stayed around for 30 minutes (Shine had joined after 5 minutes and handled the obstacle HB6.5) and had the target (HB8.5) in comfort, ran some kino escalation and gambits and was doing pretty well. After the 30 minutes she got out her phone, was texting and I went to the bathroom for the second time. By that time I walked out of the bathroom and Shine said her and her friend left (since no one was at the table anymore) and it was closing time. I finished my beer and Shine and I left. Well, the target was outside smoking a cig and talking to an AFC and said something to me with a smile as I left (I was drunk by this point and can't remember what she said). So, I leaned in as I was walking by and "told her that we have a lot to talk about later and walked off." Shine drove my truck home for obvious reasons.

Problem: I think I should have left after they bought me the drink and second, I should have not gotten SO drunk! Shine said my eyes were almost crossed when we were leaving, hehe.

Also, the latter set also mention the Pick Up Artist show when I took her chair and did Style's 5 question game. I was going to do the energy game (the one Mystery taught to Pradeep) but then switched when she mentioned the show. I played if off well (the fact that I saw the show but did not steal their game) and luckily they did not mention that game in the show.

So, any suggestions from anyone. I need to better my game in the table sitting environment (restaurant/bar) as far as body language when approaching and prob. should have left that last set after receiving my drink and not become too drunk. Anyone...? There are probably a lot of grammar errors because I am at work and trying to multi-task.

I ran into a similar situation this last week.

I was standing at the bar with a couple of AFCs taking shots. All of them excused themselves to go where ever. I turn around and there are two hb7s talking behind me. I immediately open them up. I worried for a second because I hadn't had time to choose a target, and often enough my problem is telegraphing to my target to early. Once I threw out my opener(which I can't remember) and got the girls interested, my target presented herself in an interesting way. I threw a neg at her friend, and the other hb7 says "Are you pulling that PUA shit on us?" Um, fuck.

Now, I think I have found where I really shine in all this PUA stuff. I have a really hard time with canned material. I am at my most brilliant when I am just completely bullshitting. I have fallen on my ass so many times using canned openers. In contrast, the other day, I had this girl really going, telling her a story about how I used to operate a bordello at the age of 16, because working at the Gap sucked. She didnt believe a word I said, but she was enthralled just the same.

Back to the original topic. This HB7 straight up called me out. Well, I figured I'm in the set. They are locked in. Hell, lets go with it. So I basically explain to her why she would rather have PUAs hit on her rather than AFCs. I guess this is a good value demonstrating way to talk to a girl, because she, in the end agreed. "You know, wouldn't I have more fun in an interesting and funny conversation, then having a semen dripping man ooze all over me(she didn't actually say that.)"

I kept up the negging. I was going cockyfunny the whole time. I was unstoppable!

I think it was the passion. Rather than using canned material, I was creating an interesting and value demonstrating story based wholly on my new found interest in the Venusian Arts. My energy level and enthusiasm was in tune with the set and the club because of this.

The set ended when she said "Well, you certainly aren't going to kiss close me tonight."

Which I took for "Well, you certainly are going to kiss close me tonight,"

and you know what, I did

I guess the moral of the story is, they know your using game, then game them anyways!

"Sounds like a cool show... what's it about?" Ask her about it. What are some of the things they do? Would those things work on you? (they always say no). Add a joke like "I just learned an AWESOME pickup line from this girl the other day... are you ready?.... hey baby... what's your sign? "Sounds like a cool show... I'll have to watch it when I get back in town"

or

"I love that show... Pradeep is such an asshole"... play off the drama (not that there is any)... chicks love the emotions that drama create in them.

I like your answer, it definitely worked for you. My answer would have been something like...

"No, but I've seen the show..."(doesnt really matter what you say here, as long as it confuses them for a second or 2) pause.. look at her face quizzically, then a little closer, lean back as you say, " Wait a second.. are you pulling that makeup shit on me!?" then turn away from her/them playfully.

"Ya I've seen the show but don't think I am stealing one of there line just to impress you." And then I talked about how I liked so and so, blah, blah, blah. Something to that effect and it played out pretty well.
