After that I did see her couple of times, when she was with her other coworkers and she did give a big smile.

This was one of the lamest pu attempts I have ever read.

You have to approach hundreds of women to get good at this. You plan on approaching every good looking girl in your office? You will get fired. Start approaching women outside of work so that you don't ask us to dissect every half-baked attempt.

You planted the seed by talking to her about the heavy laptop. Finding her on communicator is a bit creepy, and desperate.

If you work in the same office you are bound to bump into her again, and when you do bump into her thats when you engage her. "Oh its you again, the girl with the heavy laptop" this way you will look a lot less needy, and much more smooth.
