We had this exchange, then we went out, and I'm seeing her again tonight.


*In her profile, she states "Small talk bores me and I only want to engage in deep conversation. I hate when people talk about their life and tell stories. Honestly if it doesn't involve me, I don't care."

You look amazing, but you seem like a pain in the ass. I doubt I would put up with you. When I give someone my valuable attention, I expect to be able to talk about myself even if you weren't there. And I talk about whatever pleases ME.

I get the whole Shittest thing and the whole conflict is good thing. What I don't get is the personal assault on your character and why you didn't next her right then and there.

There are two ways to look at it. 1) You stood up to her, you were a man of value and integrity who didn't bend to her bullshit, and you still showed interested by asking her out. 2) By asking her out, you validated and rewarded the personal attack on you.

i wouldn't validate or reward that behavior.

P.S. yes I realized this happened back in July during my hiatus, but Im trying to stir some conversation up, and am legitimately curious.
