Ok, so I've been away from dating sites for a while and just recently started sending messages again.
Unfortunately, most of the wimmen are totally boring, and I've had troubles getting responses.

I usually send something that I think is funny, and they take it seriously
for example:

I said: "HELP! The C.I.A is trying to steal my penis! I need a place to hide it! Can you help me!?"
She said: "If you're flexible, you can hide it in your ass."
(aww~ come on, woman, it's an obvious joke! a little direct, sure, but come on!)

So now, here is one that got a successful reply from:

I do have some success at online game. Not as much as the others but some.

I like your ideas, your extremely different from the other solicitations they get. That is good. However, you may be so different, that their response is WTF?! There is something to be said for the balance between being to different and being to much the same.

This reminds me of a story I read where this PUA was in a club, trying to number close, while he was peacocked with a miniature dildo tucked in his ear like a pencil. It's to direct for online, even if it is funny.

I think your best bet would be to hold on to the funny, but not be so direct. Check out Rhody's post on online game. I adopted a similar style and I am reasonably happy with the response rate.
