When I looked back at her, I could see in her now smug smile that she knew she’d stung me. It was over and I was toast.

This is hard to explain, but I was communicating with her on a different level. Her eyes said, “I’ve got your number.” And mine said, “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.” I tried to keep playing, but I’d lost the game and she knew it. It was the end of the fourth and she was letting the clock run out.

Oh well, you can’t win them all and she’ll make a fantastic pivot. Every time she sees me, she’ll kiss my cheek the way she always does and it’ll be great for running jealousy plots.

yeah i'm not sure why this was such a big deal. I mean you negged her with are you following me and she can't give you shit? That's mirroring. I would have said something like 'that's why I dyed my hair brown' or 'i only fuck albinos myself'. She ran confusion game on me... when ever I'd talk about something she'd pretend she'd never heard of it and changed the subject... and she'd get reactionary about the littlest shit. Then showed off revealing photos of herself.. But didn't quite blow me (or my two wings) out, just toyed with us... like a, uh, cat with a little string, if you will

Take it with the grain of salt but IMHO, like you say she had your number - there was no recovering after she said "my what?". So what followed from her was not a shit test - at that moment you became just another guy fantasizing about her but without quite the tools needed to lead her, right then. I don't know how well you knew her previously, but it sounds like you gave her qualification without making her earn it, by letting her know you're interested in what gets her off

I’m far from upset about the way this went. I had a lot of fun with her and she sent me an email today saying she wanted to hang out again. So, overall I think it went okay. If nothing else she knows I’m fun and like I said, she’ll make a great pivot.
