With all the talk about text game and framing recently, I have decided to give some internet game (myspace, facebook, etc...) a go again and post some conversations I have.
In this conversation I am trying to set a frame, and lead with a submissive external frame, the goal is to get her to take the bait, accept my frame and become the chaser in the interaction.
(Back ground: in her profile about her it says to stop with cheesy pick up lines)
In my first message my subject was Instead of "Your subject here" I erased it and put "Your pick up line here"
All I sent in the first message was "Hi. :)"
Her: That's cute! you tierd of using really lame pickup lines? You seem like a pretty cool person. Tell me about yourself.
Me: Actually I figured you were just tired of hearing them, I really just like meeting new people and I know how most of my girl friends dislike most of the type of guys that are on here.
and I wasn't trying to pick you up ;)
(Notice she was is trying to get me to qualify myself to her by the "Tell me about yourself" line and it's easy to tell because of the language immediately before it. "You seem..." )
She was kind enough to give several options to continue the interaction, so I was able to pick and choose. I tried to answer her more trivial question, and ignore the one that would frame what I DIDN'T want in favor of a frame I would want. The goal of this move is to maintain the submissive frame so that she still feels in control and will have no reason not to jump through my somewhat trivial hoop. The response I am hoping for will be along the lines of "What were you trying to do then?" or if she's really spunky "yeah yeah, whatever. all guys want me." she may even ask me again to tell her about myself. In which, if she does, it is really just her trying to maintain her authority.
I'll post updates as they come.
